Jacob wrestling with the angel is described in Genesis (32:22–32; also referenced in Hosea 12:3–5). ... In the end, Jacob is given the name "Israel" and blessed, while the "man" refuses to give his own name. Jacob then names the place where they wrestled Penuel (פְּנוּאֵל "face of God" or "facing God").

Our true identity is found in the Lord. We are His and nothing the world offers or entices can ever compare to what we receive from being His child. Our Purpose is in Mark 12:30-31: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The biggest lie the enemy tells us is that we aren’t what God says but who we are is a reflection of our current/past mindset.

Until you know your Eternal Rights in heaven he will have a feast on you and enjoy seeing you perish for lack of understanding. These are basic rights as a believer. This is what he died for and we aren’t standing on eternal rights and the enemy laughs because we don’t understand our inheritance or God given rights as believers.

I challenge you to study these rights, because the enemy will attack you throughout your life, if you always go back to looking inward you will always be defeated but when you stand on him with the word, (ETERNAL Rights) you will overcome, you won’t be thrown around like a ragdoll.

The word of God talks about being an image of Christ and that we are to emulate Christ. Jesus says I only do what my father did, in the same way God is the number one example as he taught his son, sent Jesus to live, teach as that example.

Jesus Lead by example & we are to lead by examples by standing up, fighting with the word of God when the enemy tries to say who you are and he will flee. The enemy knows this is tied into your inheritance/promise and a eternal law that he must abide by, it’s only in keeping that a secret that he overcomes us.

The question I ask, Is do you know your Eternal Rights?

► Grace Alone. Faith Alone. God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). ... Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ.

Stand and take up your armor in Christ. Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord(A) and in his mighty power.(B) 11 Put on the full armor of God,(C) so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,(D) but against the rulers, against the authorities,(E) against the powers(F) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.(G) 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God,(H) so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,(I) with the breastplate of righteousness in place,(J) 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.(K) 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,(L) with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.(M) 17 Take the helmet of salvation(N) and the sword of the Spirit,(O) which is the word of God.(P)

18 And pray in the Spirit(Q) on all occasions(R) with all kinds of prayers and requests.(S) With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying(T) for all the Lord’s people.
