COVID-19 has stunted growth in some people. It has put people in a fear loop and people are giving up. In this episode we will talk about how to stay present, what you can control, and where God is in all this.
Waiting for something does not mean you are in lack.
It actually means you’re being prepared to contain the more.
I use to think waiting meant something was being withheld from me. That I was missing out on something. I use to hate waiting until I realized we wait because there is MORE for us. Because we are able to HOPE and DREAM for something we don’t currently see.
Listen in to hear more on transforming how you view waiting
I spent over a decade convinced I wasn’t enough. Maybe you can relate? I wasn’t enough for the fashion industry, for the men who broke up with me or never chose me, for the friends who left ...the list goes on. I didn't realize that it all boiled down to what I thought of myself, and how much I allowed others opinions of me to have power/authority in my life.
This episode is all about our role vs Gods role in our pain. How he heals, restores, and redeems isn't always how we would like in the moment but when we remember we are being prepared to rule and reign in an eternal kingdom it makes a lot more sense. I pose the question God asked me which is "Why do you keep asking me to do things you know how to do?" So lets dive in.
In this episode I am talking about Perfectionsim. Pretending to have it all together benefits no one. In fact you’re creating a facade that cannot be maintained and then when you inevitably fail at maintaining this position, look, or character you’ve created you open the door to shame.
Listen to hear how to go from trying to be someone to allowing yourself to be the best version of you which is more than enough.
I get to focus on what He has called me to. Not on what He has called others to do. The moment I start focusing on what others are doing, I am wasting precious energy that could have been focused on learning more about God, myself, and the dreams He has for me.
So often we want to see what others are doing to make sure we are doing it right, or that we are doing the “in” things. Using social media as a measuring stick.
In this episode learn how to re-shift your thinking and focus back onto what YOU have been called to do and be.
This episode I am focusing on not despising small beginnings and choosing to see that you have all you need to do this season well.
Shifting our mentality from blaming life circumstances, and people for our downfall and taking accountability for our thoughts and actions. Empowering ourselves to live the best life TODAY.
You have all you need to make today great.
Will you not try again?
Death has knocked on doors, betrayal and trauma has shown up in the deepest of places in peoples hearts. But amidst the deepest pain I know God is calling us to try again, to believe again. To try one more time.
To trust Him one more time. This is the season of breakthrough for so many. This is the year we begin to breakthrough those ten year dreams and promises from God.
This week on Begin again with Kymberly Janelle I am talking about how I shifted my thinking when I found myself over my head in "this is too hard God" to not only getting through it but thriving. I have been through a couple HARD seasons of life (parent dying, grandparents passing away, marriage failing and ultimately leading to divorce) where my body, my mind, and heart were just 'done'.
That feeling of I don't have anything left, yet life is still standing at my door knocking with responsibilities, bills to pay, work to complete, a baby to feed. It was in these moments of crying out I can't do this, this is too much I realized I had approached the phrase "God will never give you more than you can handle" all wrong.
This episode is all about starting. How timely right? First podcast can't happen unless I actually do it. So here I am. I am catching all about daring to step out because stepping out is where most people stop. They just don’t do it. Most people are looking for everything to magical align. I'm going to be that reminder that 99% of the time
There are no magic words, there is no angel coming down from heaven, there’s no guaranteed prophecy coming to you telling you the road is clear you may proceed.
But there is a promise thats better than that...
