Since Sept. 9, incarcerated workers from around the country have been on a nationwide work strike in protest against unfair prison conditions. However, the ongoing strike has not received much coverage in mainstream media.

Ivanka Trump abruptly ended an interview with Cosmopolitan after she was asked to comment about her father's controversial remarks on pregnant women in the workplace. Apparently, Ivanka became testy when the reporter mentioned that Trump called pregnant workers an "inconvenience for a business" back in 2004. On top of that, the Republican presidential candidate is under fire over his new maternity-leave policy, which is being criticized as inherently sexist.
