Social unrest has erupted in Chicago over the 2014 police shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. 400 days after the black teen was shot down by Officer Jason Van Dyke, the city released video footage showing that the black teen appeared to be walking away from officers when the white cop opened fire. Protesters also accuse city officials of trying to cover up the shooting by releasing dash cam video without sound and deleting 86 minutes of video footage of the incident recorded by a nearby Burger King security camera.
