As a new dad, David had a stressful beach vacation and dreamt up the idea for his current venture, Beachy. Growing up in hospitality and being a ‘beach boy’ from the ages of 14-22, provided David with the insight and experience to modernize the beach vacation experience.
Starting from the simple idea, “Why can’t I book my beach chairs, the same way I book an airline seat, at the same time I make my hotel reservation?” The company has now evolved into a fully integrated ordering platform empowering recreation and food and beverage staff to deliver a better guest experience while increasing topline revenue by over 40% at hard to service outlets such as the beach and pool.
Beachy patented technology has won numerous awards for their innovative platform and have been published in articles around the world, including:

Since reading The Wal-Mart Effect by Charles Fishman in 2011, Olivia Pedersen has been on an 11-year-long journey to figure out how she can contribute to solving the climate crisis. After working as a designer in the Athletic & Outdoor Industry for almost a decade, she became disheartened by the industry she loved so much and the ironic impact it has on people and the planet. During Olivia’s Master’s research in Sustainable Design, human-centered design, systems thinking, behavioral science, and circular economics grasped her curiosity. With her expertise in creativity and sustainability, she is on a mission to build an innovative solution for a sustainable future. Olivia founded Sustaio in January 2020 which was the brainchild of her M.A. thesis research. Sustaio empowers people to live climate-smarter by incentivizing emissions-reducing behavior. Sustaio provides real-time tracking and information for the everyday individual to take immediate action in reducing their footprint, like a FICO for sustainability. Imagine a world whereby having a healthier climate impact you can unlock better pricing in the world.

Andrew Headrick grew up in the Western suburbs of Minneapolis. He grew up in a large family with quadruplet younger siblings, which meant he spent ample time in primary care clinics and waiting rooms during his younger years. He has held various roles professionally, at Medtronic, at a local hedge fund, and most recently at Piper Sandler, an investment bank, where he completed 13 healthcare transactions worth over $4.3B. It was during his time at Piper that he realized just how badly the healthcare system needed to change. Andrew founded Kavira Health in late 2020 in an effort to make everyday healthcare more convenient, more cost-effective, and more accessible to all. Kavira has been doing just that – since its inception, Kavira has had thousands of patient interactions with a 9/10 patient rating, their patients have never paid a copay, nor have their patients ever had to leave their homes to receive care.
