We got the honor of catching Adam in the States and on land! We chat about kayak fishing Los Buzos, Panama for rooster fish, black marlin, cuberas and everything else that lives in the jungle. As well as his next big adventure, which is kayak guiding in Prince of Wales Island located in Southeast Alaska. Adam has taken on this roll in kayak fishing as the guy you call when you want to start a kayak guide service at your lodge. By accidentally falling into this position he has launched himself into some of the most remote beautiful locations. He's broken all the rules and has been able to build an experience with a lodge for the most extreme kayak fisherman. It really is a limitless sport and its fun watching Adam push the envelope each year.

Excited we got to sit down with Luke Blaser the other half of Old City Guide Service this week and hear his story. With 20 years of guiding experience all over the United States from Alaska, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, and Florida. This diverse, genuine, humble soul of a human takes us through those years. The lessons, the Grand Canyon, the bears, and the many great memories. Luke then reminds us, no amount of years being a guide can prepare you for the knowledge needed to succeed in Florida. It's funny how you define someone as a fisherman. We all look at this subject differently and that's ok, and quit frankly really cool. For us it’s Honson. He's the person that's open minded when fishing and sees the possibilities through all rods. He's dedicated to beating his craft in all directions, but is never too good to go back to the basics. He burns with passion, yet doesn’t take life too serious - this combo makes him so much fun to be around. It's called gathering facts, while gathering banter. One last thing to note is how hands on Honson is with pushing our sport. Through inventing, engineering, crafting, and building our daily tools and techniques to catch a fish. That’s why he’s damn good at being damn good.
