This week we are diving into the world of graphics something that is in every single sports broadcast and really most of television. We will talk about what graphics are, the different types of graphics, why they are used and then we'll talk about how not to use graphics in a broadcast. 

For this weeks episode we are talking about Directing. Directors are the people behind the scenes 'calling the shots' per say, and are sometimes described as the Quarterback of the broadcast. We will talk about the difference between live sports directors versus movie and television directors, what a game day looks like for a director and we are joined by a guest who works for the University of Akron broadcasting team. 

This week we are taking a look at instant replay, a vital part of sports broadcasting that often sneaks its way onto the screen, yet adds so much to the show. We'll talk about the history of replay, how it is used, why it is used and how it has not only changed itself, but how it has affected the rules of sports. 

This week we are diving into Camera work, which is one of, if not the most important aspect of live sports broadcasts. We'll talk about different types of cameras, where they are in a stadium or arena and how cameras have evolved over the years.
