Behind the Headlines - Mon 7th July 2025
Twenty years on from the London bombings on the 7th July 2005 we take a look back at the day that changed Britain forever. Four bombs were detonated on public transport in central London, killing 52 people and injuring hundreds more. In this Behind The Headlines special episode we talk to those who survived, the emergency services first on the scene and look at the immediate aftermath of the first suicide bombing in British history.
We are in Cardiff with Oasis fans ahead of the reunion tour, and we join Liverpool fans paying tribute to Diogo Jota
More than a quarter of a million bodies lie nameless in unmarked and largely forgotten graves around the UK, bodies belonging to people who died in Britain's Mental Asylums.

In our exclusive investigation, Senior Correspondent Mick Coyle looks into what happened to those who died while in the Victorian mental health system, why it still matters today, and uncovers uncomfortable truths sitting at the heart of our towns and cities.
We are at Anfield as fans pay tribute to Jota, and we are on the red carpet speaking to the new Superman
Wednesday 2nd July, 2025: we have the latest developments on the Lucy Letby case; we speak to a medical negligence lawyer about increasing numbers of people using Google instead of a medical professional to self-diagnose; and England defend their Euros title
