A fire spanning 20,000 square metres, that needed 400,000 litres of water to extinguish scorched Little Sark on Friday 10 July 2026.
Sark Fire and Rescue Service Chief Officer, Kevin Adams, showed Laura Clayton around the fire site just days later, and she also met some of the people who were first on the scene to tackle the fire - Community First Responder Glen Williams, and his stepson, Ollie Rapkin.
A report into the MyGov project has found it was an "absolute disaster".
Boley Smillie - the States' Chief Executive and Head of the Public Service - told Laura Clayton what went wrong and what he is now doing to ensure the same mistakes can't happen again.
