Jalyn is the kitchen manager at the fairly new and incredibly cute Pete's General in St. Petersburg, Florida. Amanda and Jalyn discuss how she got into the restaurant industry and what areas she hopes to grow into in the town where she grew up. 

Josh is the owner of Side Door Bagel, a bagel shop operating out of Amelia's Bread in Indianapolis, Indiana. Side Door Bagel is a fairly new business which has really taken off. We talk about starting our businesses around the same time and what it's like to be a mobile shop with big dreams. 

Sarah Jo, owner of Main Grain Bakery in Stevens Point Wisconsin talks about the history of the bakery and what it means to be a boss. We delve into delegating team members and what it really means to appreciate the people you have hired. 

Amanda interviews Ange Lupica, owner and operator of Sweet Teeth Confections and also baker at Fluffy Duck Cafe in Cleveland, Ohio. We discuss what it's like being valued in your work environment as well as the behind the scenes all of us restaurant industry workers know all too well. 

Amanda interviews Rachel from Milk and Honey in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We discuss what it's like working in an unhealthy environment and working your way into a baking career. Milk and Honey is having a grand opening October 26th! 

In this episode I talk to Emma Zimmerman who operates Hayden Flour Mills in Queen Creek, Arizona. We discuss what heritage wheat means, what it means to revive the grains of our history, and doing what we love with our family. 

Amanda interviews the bakers and recipe developers at Coat Check Coffee in Indianapolis, Indiana. We talk about the difficulties in making laminated dough as well as macarons. Both Jess and Jess speak to people who are wanting to enter into the restaurant industry and to the ones already in it but a little burnt out.
