This year, Impact 89FM celebrates 35 years broadcasting from Michigan State University. What better time than now to take a look back? On this podcast series, we'll be talking with DJs, directors, show hosts, and everyone in between who made the station what it is today. And, we need to remember that student radio at MSU goes back even further than the start of the Impact itself in 1989. Along the way, we'll be exploring student radio's origins from the small carrier current stations that operated within residence halls across MSU's campus, to their combination into the campus-wide Michigan State Network, and finally leading to the consolidation around Impact 89FM.
