John Gonzalez and Amy Sherman are co-hosts of "Behind the Mitten," a podcast about Michigan beer, food, festivals and the people who make it all happen!

On April 30, Amy hosted a Dining Out for Life event at Aperitivo in the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids. John stopped by with his wife, Pam, and they helped raise money for a good cause.

While they were there, John and Amy recorded a short podcast to update listeners about this weekend's "Behind the Mitten" debut on WOOD Radio 1300 AM and 106.9 FM. The show will typically air at 6 p.m. on Sundays, but because the Griffins hockey team is still in the Calder Cup playoffs, their show will debut after the Griffins game on May 2 (about 10 p.m.). If the Griffins lose, their show is expected to air in its normal time slot.
