Her newest podcast "Crime Analyst" is a smash already, and her - now 300 episodes in - other show Real Crime Profile (with Jim Clemente and Lisa Zambetti) has become the gold standard by which many true crime pods are set.

We talk about ALOT, every second of it was riveting to me to listen to and never before during an interview have I worked out my thoughts on the fly like this one. So do excuse my waffle at point, I'm poorly stalling for time in my head whilst I digest some of the massive things Laura says!

I spoke to Mark Howard days after he’d completed his dream Podcast Interview with Surfing GOAT Kelly Slater. For this to be Howie’s Number 1 is quite a statement. He has been an ever present face in Aussie sports presenters at the highest level, world wide, for 15 years.

His Podcast “The Howie Games” Has never left the PodBoard 100 top 20 in Australia since we started compiling the chart. It is the undisputed (To be fair, it has been claimed that is was since day one. They discuss this in the episode!) Number One sports podcast in Australia. 

Howie was incredibly generous with his time, and equally generous with me. We discuss all the usual aspects of making the pod, but we also have a mini brain storming session in the middle. Podboard100 spoke to Tara Palmeri 3 episodes into POWER: The Maxwells. Since then it's gone on to reach the same dizzy heights her only other podcast reached (BROKEN: Seeking Justice) 

Tara is an investigative reporter for Politico, she's a previous White House correspondent as well as a string of other journalistic accolades across her career. We talk through the process of creating both podcasts and discuss some of stand out moments from POWER so far. She also walks us through her home setup (in her cupboard) how Sony gave her freedom to create and what production went into bringing the story to life. The episode briefly features Pancetta, Tara's dog, which is cool, because she opens Episode 1 of POWER!

Podboard100 meets Andy Lee, one half of Comedy Duo Hamish & Andy. Hamish & Andy have racked up 120 Episodes thus far of their ever popular podcast. Together they are camped out at the top 10 of the Podboard 100 at all times Andy is now host of The Cube in Australia. 

We spoke for 1h15, laughing through most of it. 

He is an accomplished author... a thrice published one at that, and his books make my daughter laugh as much as this interview made me.

Decorated Australian media personality, host of many, Marc Fennell is an all platform pro. His podcast "Stuff The British Stole" is a really interesting walk through our (as Brits) all too recent History. Marc walks us through the series highlights, the gear he uses and how he and his 6 year old built a studio in a closet!

 After everything that could go wrong did. Files locked on a drive, a failed recording (I'm using the zoom audio for me - quite embarrassing -  thankfully Marc knew how to do his properly so he sounds peachy!

Episode 2 and we get the chance to speak with Ben, Brett and Jordy Meiselas. Three brothers who birthed a whole new delivery system of political activism. As President Biden was sworn into office and outgoing President Trump left the White House for the last time, the boys collectively breathed a sigh of relief, but this is no means the end of MeidasTouch. 

This is a movement that is going to spread across the world, a style of activism that connects with voters and influencers in a language they understand, however the guys remain ever humble in their success. I get the impression this is by no means "mission accomplished' this is mission begun.

From a podcast perspective The Meiselas Brothers have developed an independent fan base in their own right and they explain to us the journey of birthing the #meidasmighty into a team of millions who ensure the messages they create are seen all over the internet and beyond!
