Dr. Chiemezie shares his journey in the UK as an MSc student of Public Health.  

He worked as a carer, kitchen porter, healthcare assistant, medical support worker before getting his GMC license to practice in the UK.   There are several challenges that one might face while studying for a Master's degree in Public Health in the UK. 

Some of these challenges may include:  

Financial challenges: Studying for a Master's degree can be expensive, and this is especially true for international students who may have to pay higher tuition fees.  

Time management: A Master's degree in Public Health is a full-time program, and students may have to balance their coursework with other commitments such as work or family responsibilities.  

Finding a suitable program: With many universities offering Master's degrees in Public Health, it can be challenging to find a program that fits your needs and goals.  

Adapting to a new academic and cultural environment: For international students, adjusting to a new country and educational system can be a challenge.  

Meeting the academic demands of the program: A Master's degree in Public Health is a rigorous program that requires a strong foundation in the subject. Students may face challenges in keeping up with the coursework and meeting the high academic standards. 

Finding internships or practical experience: Many Master's programs in Public Health require students to complete internships or practical experience as part of their degree. Finding suitable placements can be challenging, especially in a competitive job market.
