Former Kansas CIty Royals and Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Nick Heath (@inheathwetrust) has continued to chase his dream of playing in the major league. He made his major league debut in 2020 and continues to try and find his way back as he plays for the Chicago Dogs in the American Association league. Former Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Braden Scott had a unique journey to making his way to the minor leagues. The lefty graduated from the University of Indiana with no offers from a MLB team, but that didn't stop him from giving up on his dream. Miami Marlins pitcher Geoff Hartlieb had a unique journey to finding his way to the mound. Hartlieb was an all-state basketball player in high school and attended Quincy University for basketball. Next thing he knew, he was transferring to Lindenwood University to play baseball, leading him to be drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 29th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. Hartlieb joins Jared as they discuss all the transitions he had to make, how he found success in baseball, and what it was like to make his major league debut in 2019.
