Behold God's Servant 
Isaiah 50

As we pause to reflect on God’s revelation you might notice that this song sounds familiar. Usually, this servant song of Isaiah is heard on Palm Sunday.  The people of Israel fail miserably as they fall short of the LORD’s expectations for His servant. Therefore, the LORD sends another Servant. One who would experience suffering, shame, and disgrace, then help and rescue. As Christ was obedient unto death, even death on a tree, so the LORD raised Him up and exalted Him to His right hand. This is more than news for Holy Week and Good Friday. This is what God has said His servant would be. What do you expect as his people?
