Remember that famous line from the movie Apollo 13? There has been a explosion of some kind and the spacecraft was shaking and twisting through space and Jim Lovell got on the com and said, "Houston, we have a problem." 

Humankind also has a problem. The whole human race is under sin. It's a problem so severe and so horrible, that if the problem is not correctly diagnosed and if the problem is not solved, then we are under the wrath of God for all eternity and destined to live the horrible consequences of our sin. "Man, we have a problem."

People raise all kinds of objections to Christianity and the truth of God's Word, but in the end God always wins.  We must be careful not to use our questions and objections as an excuse for not submitting ourselves to God, repenting of our sin, and trusting in Christ. 

How do you know you have the real thing when it comes to your relationship with the living God? How do you know you are trusting the right things? How do you know that you are right with God now and that you will be in right standing with Him on judgment day? The apostle Paul gives the answers to these questions in Romans chapter 2:25-29.

What is a hypocrite and what are the true dangers? 

Is the fact that God will judge everyone justly and without partiality a good thing or a bad thing? What about those people who have never had the chance to hear about Jesus who said, "No one comes to the Father except through me?" What will happen to them? 

John 5:28-29  "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)

Has God abandoned America? The aposlte Paul would respond with a resounding, "Yes." This message from Romans 1:24-32 tells us why and what can be done about it.  What is the great reversal?

Romans 1:20

 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

This message from Romans 1:18 could also be called, When God Abandons a Nation or What's Wrong with America? The answer to what is going on in our country is sin and God's justified wrath.
