Whew! Being a woman in power is NOT for the weak! Talk less of being a black woman! The power and strength we hold as black women can bring us blessings, just as much as hate. This can affect us in the work place whether you work in corporate, day to day job or run your own empire. It comes with challenges! We battle those who try to tell us who we are, we battle egotistical and misogynistic men, we battle women who see your strength as intimidation. You are asked to play small so others can feel big! *NEWS FLASH* NONE of this is YOUR problem! I want you to know that anyone or place that makes you feel too much or too little should be NOT be in your life. Your presence should only be graced in rooms where you are respected, honored, and empowered! I see the battles you face everyday. I see when others were given a promotion that was yours. The universe has a greater calling with your name on it. Stay the course!
