Being A Little Married is a term used in some urban communities to marginalize the fact that an individual is married to make themselves more marketable to singles.

Younger women especially from the 1980's through 1990's used this term to tell a potential suitor that she's married, but available for intimate and or sexual activity with the understanding that a serious relationship isn't sought.

The reason most commonly associated for using this term is justification for infidelity based on perceived actions of the spouse. These efforts are usually covert.
