Being a True Disciple
In the early church, Christianity was a persecuted religion. If you chose Baptism, you knew that your commitment to Jesus might be tested by torture, even death. Slowly Christianity became an accepted part of
society, and discipleship became simply a 'lifestyle choice'. However, the Church is moving back into a time of persecution, and again we are being called to radical discipleship. What does this mean in a modern world? How do we decide for sainthood in a culture of compromise? What will be the consequences if we take this stand for Christ?
