Nova epizoda nam donosi razgovor sa Anom koja promišlja život na više nivoa i u više raziličitih dimezija. Kao i njen sajt ovaj razgovor je svojevrstan lavirint tema koji možete istraživati u svom tempu i na razne načine. Dotakle smo se pozicije umetnice u društvu i neophodnosti njenog života na margini kao i polozaja zena i njihovih borbi da u njega pogledaju. Pričale smo o anarhiji, slobodi i folku. Govorile smo o mačkama i lekcijama kojima nas ova mala krznata božanstva uče. Nadam se da ćete uživati u poetici ovog razgovora koliko sam i ja.  

Ana Arp je pisac. Autorka je sajta A.A.A (2011), knjiga Tri mita (2016) i Jabuke (2019). U 2022. godinu ulazi sa planom za objavljivanje tri knjige koje će činiti jednu estetsku i smisaonu celinu – eseje o Šekspiru, Helderlinu i Tomasu Manu. Ana Arp prati blejkovsku tradiciju uradi sam izdavaštva, nezavisnosti u radu, delanja van tržišnih modela i odnosa izdavač-autor. Svoj rad sama finansira, štampa i uređuje, sarađujući sa lektorima, dizajnerima i fotografima. To je deo koncepta, ne nužnosti, i ima veze sa anarhističkim idejama koje negiraju odnos hijerarhije i po svaku cenu institucionalnog afirmisanja umetnika (preko izdavača, nagrada, medija, udruženja, festivala). Rođena je u Beogradu 6. decembra 1985. godine. Osnovne, master i doktorske studije pohađala je na Filološkom fakultetu u Beogradu na Katedri za opštu književnost i teoriju književnosti. Sajt A.A.A (https://anaarpart.com) treba posmatrati kao oblik umetničkog dela. Sadržaj sajta stvara novi jezik koji je omogućila tehnologija koja iz dana u dan biva sve jači medijator između nas i umetnosti, nas i stvarnosti. U pitanju je umetnička forma koja se najbolje otkriva ako posetilac uđe u arhivu i počne da se kreće pravolinijski kroz sadržaj, iz meseca u mesec, iz teksta u tekst. Tada se uočava jasna narativna struktura čitavog projekta na kome je autorka radila jedanaest godina.

U još jednoj epizodi na srpskom jeziku razgovaram sa kreativnom gromadom @Jovana Miljanovic  . U ovom šarenolikom razgovoru dotičemo se puno važnih tema koje se tiču življena po sopstvenoj meri. Govorimo o nevidljivom radu žena, o odgovrnostima i tamnim stranama koje živeti svoj san nosi, veri, uspehu na jedan drugačiji nacin, celoživotnom učenju i o radosti provaljivanja teških problema i suocavanja sa sobom. In this episode I am talking to a person who has harvested the highest accolades in his profession, from looking at pond scum under the microscope he arrived to the Nobel prize. Yet what he still enjoys the most is the "simple" act of gathering and analysing data in biology. A gentle reminder that genuine curiosity about the world can takes us further than we can imagine. We dive into several topics that are giving headaches to contemporary researchers. One of them is the challenge of scientific publishing which you have already heard something about in the previous episode. We also talk about incentives in science and how we can have different working models that promote cooperation rather than competition. In other words how to be a good citizen of science. Finally, we touch upon on how making mistakes and being brave enough to accept them is a normal and a very human part of our life journeys.   

Dr. Randy Schekman is a professor of molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley. He has been awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology and medicine for his ground breaking work on cell membrane vesicle trafficking. Currently his lab is devoted to molecular description of this process in new coriat excels professor Sheckman also coordinates the research initiative dubbed ASAP to advance targeted basic research and resources to uncover the roots of Parkinson's disease it is one of the pioneers and supporters of open access scientific publishing. I hope this conversation showcases the complexity of the scientific endavour and brings to your awarness the current stuggles and challenges we are facing.

In this episode I am talking to a member of a very peculiar profession, a librarian with a rich professional and life experience. We tackle an important stuggle that modern scientists are facing which is how we can share our findings frictionlessly. Scientific and open acess publishing give a lot of headaches to contemporary researchers and we are trying to approach and understand the complexity of this topic. We also discuss the tremendous amount of work that is behind a scientific discovery and the challenge to reckognize everyone who is invloved in the process. Finaly we also bring in the things that are spice of life such as music and runing. 

Frank Norman is a recently retired librarian of the Francis Crick Institute. He has over 35 years of experience in biomedical library and information work, including 25 years running the Library & Information Service at NIMR, Mill Hill. He transferred to the Crick in 2015. He has been an active member of the committees of the CHILL and RESCOLINC library groups and is now a member of the UKSG Education Subcommittee and the bioRxiv Advisory Group. He takes a strong interest in open science and scholarly communication, and the interplay with science communication and social media.

In this episode I am talking to a creative volcano, a person that is music embodied. This is a wide ranging conversation on music, creativity, being good at what you do being the best marketing strategy, and the audience as the first judge of his work. We also touch on success and that for him it means being healthy and able to do the work that makes you tick. Aleksandar Sedlar is a Serbian composer, conductor, multi-instrumentalist, musical producer, and associate professor at the Faculty of Arts in Nis. Having studied composition under Professor Vlastimir Trajkovic at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, he graduated as a valedictorian in 2006. In 2013, Aleksandar completed his master’s studies in composition at the University of Southern California, USC Thornton School of Music, in Los Angeles, with Professor Donald Crockett. Aleksandar’s pieces have been successfully performed all over the world. He has worked with many well-known orchestras, such as the RTS Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, BerlinerSymphoniker, and others. Nemanja Radulović, Patricia Petibon, Camille Thomas, and Maja Bogdanović, are only some of the renowned soloists he has collaborated with over the years. Both Decca Records, of the Universal Musical Group, and Deutche Grammophon record labels have published his compositions and musical arrangements. When it comes to his career as a conductor, Aleksandar has directed the RTS Symphony Orchestra, Stanislav Binicki Orchestra, and both the choir and orchestra of the National Theater in Belgrade. He is also the founder and conductor of the Beogradska Sedlarijeta Orchestra.

This is a wide ranging conversation on creativity, voice and our bodies as instruments, obesity and attaining a healthy lifestyle and accepting what is while also striving to evolve and grow. Lisette Oropesa ( @Lisette Oropesa ) is one of the most in-demand lyric coloraturas today, who performs leading roles regularly at the most important opera houses around the world. She has achieved worldwide acclaim for her seamless vocal technique, expressive musicality, linguistic affinity, and stylistic integrity. Lisette was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Cuban parents, and played the flute for 12 years and she began her studies in vocal performance at Louisiana State University. After winning the Met Opera National Council Auditions, she entered the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program and moved to New York City. She sang her first major role, Susanna in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, at the Met at the age of 22, and has sung there in over 100 performances in many different roles since. She has appeared in concert halls and opera stages all over the world since graduating from the young artist program in 2008, and has become one of the most celebrated singers of her generation, both for her singing and her inspiring personal story. Lisette is a devoted runner who has completed 6 marathons and is an advocate for health and fitness. U još jednoj epizodi podkasta na srpskom pridružuje mi se Elena i razgovaramo o slobodi, traganjima i lepoti života. Kroz metaforu od gnezda i sigurnosti do leta, Elena nas podseća na mogućnosti osvajanja sopstvene slobode kroz upoznavanje naših telesnih navika i gajenja saosećanja za naše iskustvo. Glas je most između untrašnjosti i spoljašnosti i nadam se da će ovaj razgovor biti podsetnik da oslušnete sebe i date sebi dozvolu da i drugi čuju vašu dušu.

Elena Sedlić je večiti tragalac i osnivač integrativne muzičke edukacije „Slobodno pevaj“ koja ima za cilj da ljudima vrati veru u njihove muzičke potencijale. Njena uloga je da podseti da je muzika, kao naš primalni, zvučni jezik, deo sveopšteg ljudskog iskustva, dostupna svima nevezano za obrazovanje i talente. Čvrsto brani ideju o čoveku umetniku, i u svom radu nastoji da bude most između čoveka i njegovog drevnog muzičkog bića – homo musicusa. Završila je osnovne i master studije na Muzičkoj akademiji u Beogradu, gde je imala priliku da se sretne sa različitim interdisciplinarnim metodama i pravcima muzičke analize koje su joj proširile poglede po pitanju muzike. Otvoriviši vrata umrežavanja muzike sa srodnim disciplinama, na prvom mestu psihologije, odlučuje se da pomnije istraži neke od psihoterapijskih pravaca: analitičku psihologiju Karla Gustava Junga (u master radu se koristi arhetipskom analizom opere), kao i konstruktivističku psihoterapiju Džordža Kelija gde u okviru Udruženja konstruktivista tri godine sluša edukaciju. Trenutno izučava praksu telesne reedukacije pod nazivom Aleksander tehnika. Smisao interdisiplinarnosti vidi kao put ka širem, ali i dubljem, razumevanju istog fenomena. U okviru „Slobodno pevaj“ pristupa pomiruje dva najvažnija dela sebe: istraživača naučnika i slobodnog umetnika. Muzika nam može pomoći da ostvarimo duboku i intimnu vezu sa sobom, a istovremeno, ima potencijal da bude medijum komunikacije sa Drugim u najširem kontekstu – sa drugom osobom, sa svetom ili sa nečim većim od nas. Muzika, i glas kao njen prvi instrument, ohrabruju nas da čujemo sebe iznutra, a onda, putem pevanja, budemo vidljivi i u spoljašnjem svetu.

Ovo je prva epizoda Being and Doing podkasta na srpskom jeziku I teme kojih smo se dotakle su meni jako drage, teške i bitne. Iako vreme prolazi, priče izlaze u javnost a onda ih zamene neke druge priče, jako je važno da ne zaboravimo i da nastavimo da govorimo o nasilju, posebno o nasilju koje se događa ženama, devojkama i devojčicama oko nas. Tijana i ja smo se dotakle našeg iskustva u Istraživačkoj stanici Petnica i poteškoća sa kojima smo s susrele u pokušaju da otvoreno govrimo o problemima koji su nas okruživali. Kako nije bilo dovoljno sluha u okviru stanice, nadam se da će ovaj podkast naići na više razumevanja. Osim toga dotičemo se buđenja ženskog principa i otkrivanja moći koju ima naš glas i osećaj da nismo sami kada taj isti glas podelimo sa drugima. Nadam se da ćete uživati koliko sam i ja!   

TIJANA GRUMIĆ (1993) je dramska spisateljica i dramaturškinja. Diplomirala je na katedri za dramaturgiju Fakulteta dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu 2016. godine kao studentkinja generacije. Na istom fakultetu je 2017. godine završila master studije dramaturgije, a trenutno je studentkinja doktorskih umetničkih studija. Njeni dramski tekstovi izvođeni su u omladinskom pozorištu DADOV, na sceni UK Vuk Karadžić u Beogradu, u pozorištu ''Bora Stanković'' u Vranju, Srpskom narodnom pozorištu u Novom Sadu, Gradskom pozorištu u Čačku, pozorištu Atelje 212 u Beogradu i Kraljevačkom pozorištu. Kao dramaturškinja radila je na projektima u pozorištima širom Srbije. Tijana je dobitnica nekoliko nagrada za svoj rad među kojima i nagrade za celokupno dramsko stvaralaštvo Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz koju dodeljuje Srpska čitaonica u Irigu i fond ''Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz.''
