We know that God loves us, having demonstrated His love countless times, with the ultimate proof being the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ. But the real question is: do we love God? Many of us place many other things above Him. A fundamental aspect of being a Christian is encapsulated in Matthew 22:37, which calls us to love the Lord our God. We may know God and even like Him, but when it comes to truly loving Him, can we confidently say yes?

God often calls us by names that reflect the people we are destined to become, even when we struggle to see ourselves in that light. It can be difficult to have faith in our own transformation and to truly believe that we are living according to God's will. Despite the doubts and judgments of others based on our past actions, God sees us for who we are becoming, not who we once were.
