In this sermon Pastor William is talking about being filled with the spirit. It's a very simple talk but which he hopes has practical application. In Ephesians 5 15-20 in which Paul is advising the believers in Ephesus to be careful how they live as we heard not as unwise but as wise making the most of every opportunity for the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the spirit. Now, sometimes as Christians, we can wrestle over that question. "What is God's will for my life?" Well, here we have an amazing clear statement of the Lord's will for our lives. The Lord's will is for each one of us to be filled with the spirit of God. That is God's will for me. That is God's will for you. If you want to learn more about a relationship with Jesus we recommend a book titled "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, or "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel if you are questioning what this whole "Christian" thing is all about, or you can reach out to us at https://www.holyspiritleesburg.org/ . We'd love to connect and chat with you.
