With Lionel Messi leaving FC Barcelona, a club he gave everything to, several thoughts hit my mind. Messi spent over two decades serving the club and achieve them the status that fans boast of today. Some of these thought-strings questioned the need for closure and some others asked if a grand celebration/send-off was necessary to showcase one's deeds' importance/value. These are difficult questions to answer at one go but maybe starting a conversation about it will help us all understand ourselves better. Isn't that what mindfulness is all about?
