This week we will be looking at the word that Tich Smith shared on Sunday titled ‘Being the Hands & Feet of Jesus’.

Firstly, it is important to remember that Jesus does not ask us to surrender just a little bit of our lives to Him. He didn’t ask the rich young ruler to sell some of his possessions, He told him to “sell whatever you have”. We are called to lay all we have at His feet and to follow Him.

Secondly, we need to remember what is important to Jesus. People are what He cares about. It is easy for us to get distracted by the things of the world, but Jesus’ focus is on the lost. He cares about the widow and the orphan and the destitute and we need to make sure that we don’t just ‘do our bit for Jesus’ instead of truly being a light that shines in a lost and broken world.

Finally, we have to do things God’s way. Our common sense usually serves us well, but when God speaks, we need to put it aside and obey His voice. When we do, we will see the miraculous follow.
