This is a meditation to help you be with noise. All of us are affected differently by noise and experience sounds in unique ways. Some sounds that you may find pleasurable, such as wind chimes, may be jarring to another person. Sound affects us on so many levels. It can distract us from our work, it can disturb our sleep, it can affect our enjoyment of activities, and of course it can draw you away from meditation.
If only it were possible to find a disruptive noise unobtrusive, even peaceful. Through this meditation I will show you how to just let a noise be, so that you can remain steady and unaffected.
