Believe it or not, there are still new construction projects being proposed

Listen Later

There's still new construction developments being proposed, even as the coronavirus shutdown continues into its second month.
We talk about that on this week's Access Louisville podcast.
Reporter Marty Finley tells us about one Louisville developer, LDG Development LLC, that has proposed 1,300 new apartments and an industrial building since quarantine really started in March. Finley talks about the company's philosophy behind these filings.
As always, we don't just focus on one topic, however. At the top of the show we talk about dream home features. We did just publish a list of the area's biggest residential real estate transactions, after all. We also check in with banking reporter Sarah Shadburne, who tells us what she's hearing from lenders who are trying to help businesses file for SBA loans. The program just ran out of money but there's talk of new funding.
Access Louisville is a weekly podcast from Louisville Business First. You can find it on popular podcast services. In addition to Finley and Shadburne, Business First Digital Editor David Mann host the show this week.
