This is an introductory sermon surveying  the original audience, context, and purpose of the Gospel of John. We will see that John's main purpose in writing His Gospel is not for people to simply believe in Christ, but to believe in such a way that we truly believe, with the wholeness of our affections, that He was the Son of God. This is the first sermon in a series entitled: "Believe: The Gospel According to John"
