This most important episode details how to be a believer in Jesus.
Reality of sin: Romans 3:23 says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Humble yourself to know you need a Savior: Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. With unforgiven sins we are headed for hell when we die and we live apart of Jesus while here on earth.
Believe that Jesus was our atonement: Romans 5:8 says But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! Even though we don't deserve it or asked for it, Jesus died to pay for our sins. Atonement – is an acceptable payment for something done wrong, or to make amends.
Accept Jesus as Savior: Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
