In 1 Timothy 1:12-20 we're reminded that the Christian life is about who God is and what He's done; not who we are and what we've done.

We begin a new series by looking at 1 Timothy 1:1-11. The way we talk and think comes from who we are; our identity.

This week we examine our church values; both what they mean and how well we are in line with them.

We look at Romans 12 to see that what do we do comes from who we are, and who we are comes from our source.

This week we look at how to practice 1 Corinthians 10:31; Loving the person of Jesus in all of life.

In James 5:12-20 we see that we are called to care for one another by praying in faith for spiritual and physical health.

From Acts 1 we can see that the plan of God is bigger than we think, His people are weaker than we think, and his power is more than enough to get the job done.

James 5:1-11 warns against hoping in riches and encourages patience in suffering.

James 4:13-17 reminds us that God is in control of our lives and we should submit to His will when planning for the future.
