This teaching emphasises the importance of understanding and preparing for different times and seasons in life spiritually. Preparation for a season should occur before it arrives to fully reap its benefits. For instance, a farmer plants seeds before the rainy season, not during it. Similarly, in the spiritual realm, there are times for harvest where one must collect what they've sown. It is crucial not to waste the preparation period; every season and assignment should find you ready. Jesus, for example, spent years preparing before starting his ministry at 30.

Understanding times and seasons also means not comparing oneself to others, as one person's harvest period might be another's planting period. No farmer plants by accident, and when a season comes, it's up to the individual to discern it; it is never announced.

Invest time in the things God wants you to invest in, such as preparing for mass soul-winning, your next level of faith, your next level of giving, and growth. This understanding of times and seasons is supported by various biblical references, including Ecclesiastes 3:3, 1 Chronicles 12:2, and Ecclesiastes 10:10.
