How does God's salvation manifest in the life of people? 

Here are two examples of God's grace working in the life of Lydia, a woman in Philippi whose heart the Lord opened and the Philippian jailor who cried out 'what must I do to be saved"

1. Lydia's conversion teaches us about God's sovereignty over our salvation.

2. The Philippian Jailor's conversion teaches us about the responsibility of man in repentance and faith upon hearing and seeing the power of God.

Two Things To Considers

It is imperative that we guard our beliefs and keep our behaviours in check in order to avoid the following issues that we face in our Christian life.

v.27 - Give no opportunity to the devil.

v.30 - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
