Believing in the promises of Jesus, especially that of the Holy Spirit, and thus walking our earthly journey in His wonderful, ever-constant company.
Jesus made many promises to us while He was here on earth, amongst them the gift of salvation, and eternal life and the coming of the Holy Spirit, the Third person of the Holy Trinity to indwell us when He left. And that miraculous occasion did happen ten days after He ascended back to heaven, on the day of the feast of Pentecost, one of the most important days of the Christian calendar, because it was on that fateful day that the promise of the Comforter was fulfilled; the Holy Spirit appeared to the disciples and the early believers and began indwelling them, and giving them all sorts of power, so that they could do the work Jesus desired of them and subsequently ALL believers, which includes us in these troubled times. That's why we have to learn to walk with and in the Spirit, because that's the only way we can ever truly fulfill Jesus' Great Commission, that of spreading His good news gospel all around the world!
