The gospel episode of Bartimaeus is a touching and heartening story. It is a story of persistence and faith on the part of the blind man and it is a reminder of the kindness, mercy and power of Christ. We can take personally the question Our Lord poses to Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?"
