Belong Church

This weekend’s message - Comparison leads to blurred focus and distortion which ends in DISCONTENTMENT!! Discontentment is a tool of the enemy to shift our focus onto our circumstances and then be dissatisfied with "life" in general!

One of the greatest illnesses plaguing the world currently is depression. Pastor Kevin recently heard this message and it resonated that we, the church, need to do a better job understanding depression, mental illnesses and that everyone is vulnerable. This morning we replay a podcast from Church of the Highlands where Pastor Chris Hodges ministers on this topic, depression.

As we celebrate 3 years as a church, we look at the foundation of what we have been called to be... like Jesus! And our founding scripture, John 3:17

You were created to MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Not to live a mundane, boring life... inside you is the full potential planned and mapped out by God, our Father!

We see the hand of God throughout Scripture and today look at the experiences of 2 disciples who were with Jesus.

We just ended 21 Days of Prayer... now what?

What happens to us is external, how we handle it is the more important focus. Today we see that Jesus prayed for Peter to go through his upcoming trials and is still praying for us today!
