We continue to look at "You were made to..." - This week, we focus on God's intent that we KNOW HIM!

There is a deep-seated need inside of every one of us - to be accepted! We were created by God with that need... we can see in many places, such as being picked for a sports team, or invited to a party.

We were made to identify with groups... even sports teams... whose your favorite team? God created us as a "PEOPLE" and we do better together!

We may be uncomfortable at times when we think of reaching out to those around us to talk about our walk with Christ.

The story of the book of Daniel took place around 607 B.C. and the nation of Israel were captives during the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem.

We see that before Jesus healed people it was preceded by the phrase, "He had compassion on them..." When His best friend, Lazarus, was sick and ultimately died, Jesus was again moved and it says, "Jesus wept."

Jesus walked up to strangers and said, "Come follow Me!" He furthermore was not moved by public opinion, His reputation or people's thoughts/misunderstandings.

Have you ever been in a storm? We look at the life of Jesus and how He calmed the storm. We also gain new understanding from King David and how he wrote Psalm 23.
