  • Are the Scriptures God's Love Letters To You? How to Read the Bible and Feel Closer to God.

What if reading the scriptures could feel less like another task on your to-do list and more like receiving a personal love letter from God?

In this episode of Beloved Daughter, Elizabeth shares 4 simple ways to read the Bible and feel closer to God, helping you discover His love, recognise His voice through scripture, and develop a more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to read the Bible to know God's heart, rather than simply looking for instructions.

How slowing down and reflecting on a single Bible verse can help you recognise God's love.

How to find Jesus and His promises throughout the Bible, even in stories of hardship, failure, and forgiveness.

Elizabeth also introduces Heirloom Letters, a heartfelt project inspired by the power of personal letters, family stories, and the memories we leave for those we love.

  • Lost Your Confidence? 4 Ways to find It Again with God
Lost Your Confidence? 4 Ways to Find It Again With God

Have you lost confidence in yourself? Maybe you second-guess your decisions, compare yourself to other women, worry about what people think, or feel like the confident woman you used to be has disappeared somewhere along the way.

Beloved friend, what if you don't need to get your old confidence back?

What if God wants to help you build a different kind of confidence—one that isn't dependent on other people's approval, getting everything right, or feeling fearless?

In today's episode of Beloved Daughter, we're talking about 4 biblical ways to rebuild your confidence with God.

Through the stories of Moses, David and Esther, we'll look at what God-given confidence actually looks like when you feel inadequate, afraid or unsure of yourself.

    You'll discover:

Why feeling unqualified doesn't mean God can't use you

How remembering what God has already brought you through can rebuild your confidence

Why depending on other people's approval makes confidence so fragile

How to stop allowing fear to make your decisions

Why courage can grow after you take the step God is asking you to take

A simple practical exercise for those moments when you're looking to other people for reassurance

Because confidence in God doesn't mean believing nothing will go wrong.

It means knowing that whatever happens, you won't be walking through it without Him.

I'm also sharing a first little look at something very special I've been creating: Heirloom Letters—an immersive physical letter experience designed to help us uncover and preserve the stories beneath the facts of our families. Come behind the scenes with me. +61 414 845 177. or [email protected]

The courage. The prayers. The difficult seasons. The things our mothers, grandmothers and families lived through that we may never have thought to ask about.

And maybe even the parts of your story that someone you love will want to know one day.

If you've been struggling with self-doubt, insecurity, comparison, fear of failure or worrying about what other people think, this episode is for you.

You don't have to become fearless before you move forward.

You can take the next step with God.

  • 3 Ways to Stop Worrying About What People Think

Do you worry about what people think of you? Maybe you replay conversations in your head, struggle to say no, second-guess your decisions, or hold yourself back because you're afraid of being judged, misunderstood or disappointing someone.

In this episode of Beloved Daughter, we're talking about 3 ways to stop worrying about what people think and start becoming more confident in following God.

Because the answer isn't to stop caring about people. We all want to be loved, accepted and understood. The problem begins when someone else's opinion becomes more important than what we know is right—and fear starts making our decisions for us.

Through the biblical stories of King Saul and Esther, we'll look at what can happen when we fear people's reactions, why courage doesn't require us to feel confident first, and how to shift our attention back to God when other people's voices become too loud.

    You'll learn how to:

Replace “What will they think?” with a better question: “What would be pleasing to God?”

Recognise when fear of people's opinions is affecting your choices
    Stop constantly second-guessing yourself
Follow God even when someone may disagree or be disappointed
Practise small acts of courage before you feel confident
    Set boundaries without becoming unkind
Stop giving everyone else's opinion authority over your life
Keep your heart anchored in Jesus Christ

If you've ever said yes when you wanted to say no, stayed quiet because you were worried about being judged, or talked yourself out of something because you imagined what other people might think, this episode is for you.

You don't need to become someone who doesn't care about people.

You can be kind, compassionate and teachable while still knowing who you're following.

So the next time you catch yourself thinking, “But what will they think?”, ask yourself:

    Which way am I facing?

Turn your attention back to Jesus, and let His voice guide your next step.

  • Feeling Overwhelmed as a Mom? 4 Ways to Find Strength in God

Feeling Overwhelmed as a Mum? 4 Ways to Find Strength in God

Are you feeling overwhelmed by motherhood, emotionally exhausted, or wondering if you're doing enough as a mum?

Maybe you love your children deeply, but some days the constant needs, noise, decisions, housework, school responsibilities and emotions leave you feeling like you have nothing left to give. And then comes the mum guilt—the moments you replay what you said, wonder whether you handled something the right way, or quietly tell yourself, I should be doing better.

But God never asked you to mother without Him.

In this faith-filled Christian motherhood episode of Beloved Daughter, we're looking at four biblical ways to find strength in God when motherhood feels heavy.

Through the story of Jesus feeding the five thousand, you'll discover what can happen when you stop focusing on everything you don't have and simply bring Jesus what you do.

We'll talk about why the small, ordinary things you do for your children matter more than you may realise, and how releasing the pressure to do everything can help you become more present for what matters today.

Then we'll step into the story of Samuel choosing David and the beautiful reminder that while we see what's happening on the outside, God sees the heart. You'll learn a simple prayer to use when your child's anger, tears, silence or behaviour leaves you wondering what they really need.

And through Peter's failure and his beautiful encounter with the resurrected Jesus, we'll talk honestly about mum guilt, losing your patience, apologising, repairing relationships and allowing the grace of Jesus Christ to meet you on the days you wish you'd done differently.

You'll also learn one simple practice you can use when motherhood feels like too much: The “What I Have” Prayer.

Instead of asking yourself how you're going to carry everything, pause and pray:

Jesus, this is what I have today. This is what I don't have. Please help me with what I cannot carry on my own.

    Then ask:

What is the most important thing for me to do right now?

You don't need enough strength for everything at once. You can bring Jesus what you have and trust Him to help you with what you don't.

If you've been searching for Christian encouragement for overwhelmed mums, help with mum guilt, biblical encouragement for motherhood, strength from God, Christian parenting encouragement, or simply a reminder that you don't have to carry motherhood alone, this episode is for you.

    In this episode:

How to find strength in God when motherhood feels overwhelming

What the five loaves and two fishes can teach us about feeling like we're not enough

Why small and simple moments with your children matter

How to ask God to help you see beyond your child's behaviour

What the Bible teaches us about failure, grace and beginning again

A simple prayer for overwhelmed mums

How to release mum guilt and bring your imperfect days back to Jesus

You don't have to be enough for everything motherhood asks of you.

Bring Jesus what you have. Let Him be your strength.

  • 4 Things to Remember When Rejection Makes You Question Your Worth

4 Things to Remember When Rejection Makes You Question Your Worth

Have you ever been rejected by someone and found yourself wondering, What does this say about me?

Maybe someone you loved walked away. A friendship changed. You weren't invited. Someone else was chosen for the opportunity, the relationship, the job—or simply the seat at the table you hoped would be yours.

Sometimes rejection is obvious. Other times, it is painfully quiet: the unanswered message, discovering everyone got together without you, or realising that someone you valued doesn't seem to value the relationship in the same way.

And before long, They didn't choose me can quietly become, There must be something wrong with me.

But those are two very different things.

In this episode of Beloved Daughter, Elizabeth shares four things to remember when rejection makes you question your worth, and why another person's acceptance—or rejection—was never meant to determine your value.

Together, we'll talk about what it means to root your identity in God rather than in another person's opinion, how rejection can affect your sense of belonging without changing where you truly belong, and what the way Jesus treated overlooked and rejected people reveals about how He sees you.

We'll also spend time with the woman at the well and look at other moments in the Gospels where Jesus stopped for people others ignored, dismissed or condemned.

If you're dealing with rejection, feeling unwanted, struggling with being left out, grieving the loss of a friendship or relationship, or wondering why not being chosen has affected your self-worth so deeply, this episode is for you.

    You'll be reminded that:

You are God's daughter before you are anything else.

Another person's acceptance is not the measure of your worth.
Rejection can hurt your sense of belonging without changing where you belong.
The way Jesus sees you matters more than the way someone else has treated you.

Knowing your identity in Christ doesn't mean rejection suddenly stops hurting. You can know God loves you and still grieve the person who didn't love you well. You can know you belong to Jesus and still feel lonely when you weren't included.

Faith doesn't ask you to pretend rejection doesn't hurt. It gives you somewhere safe to take the hurt.

So if rejection has made you question whether you're lovable, valuable, wanted or enough, come back to what is true:

    You are His daughter.

    You are known by Him.
    You belong to Him.
And another person's decision about you has never had the power to change what you are worth to God.

Beloved Daughter is a Christian podcast for women who want to grow closer to God, understand their identity in Christ, deepen their faith, and learn to recognise God's love in the middle of ordinary life, disappointment, relationships, rejection and change.

If this episode encourages you, share it with a friend who may need the reminder too, and follow Beloved Daughter so you don't miss the next episode.

  • Feeling Insecure? 4 Biblical Truths to Build God-given Confidence.

Feeling Insecure? 4 Biblical Truths to Build God-Given Confidence

Do you struggle with insecurity, comparison or worrying about what other people think of you? Do you sometimes feel as though everyone else is more confident, capable or put together than you are? Or has God ever asked you to do something and you've immediately thought, I'm not good enough for that?

If so, this episode of Beloved Daughter is for you.

We're talking about what God-given confidence actually looks like—and why biblical confidence is very different from simply trying to believe in yourself more.

Through the stories of the woman at the well, Moses and Peter walking on water, along with the powerful truth found in Romans 8, Elizabeth shares four biblical truths that can help you overcome insecurity and build your confidence in God.

You'll discover why other people's opinions don't determine your worth, why you don't have to feel capable before God can use you, how remembering that you are God's daughter changes the way you see yourself, and why true confidence isn't knowing you'll never fall—it's knowing who to reach for when you do.

If you've been battling low self-confidence, comparison, fear of failure, people-pleasing, self-doubt or feelings of inadequacy, this conversation will help you stop looking to the world to tell you who you are and start building your confidence on something much steadier: what God says about you.

You don't have to become fearless before God can use you. You don't have to have everything figured out. And you certainly don't have to wait until you finally feel “good enough” to follow Jesus.

Sometimes faith looks like climbing out of the boat with shaking knees and trusting that Jesus will be there.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to stop allowing other people's opinions to determine your worth

What Moses teaches us about feeling inadequate for what God has called us to do
Why knowing your identity as a daughter of God can quiet insecurity
What Peter walking on water teaches us about real Christian confidence
How to turn to Jesus when comparison and self-doubt return
One simple question to ask yourself when you're feeling insecure

  • 3 Ways to Stop Seeking Approval and Find Your Confidence in God
3 Ways to Stop Seeking Approval and Find Your Confidence in God

Do you worry about what other people think of you? Do you say yes when you really want to say no because you’re afraid of disappointing someone? Or can one person’s criticism leave you questioning yourself long after the conversation is over?

People pleasing can look a lot like kindness from the outside. You’re helpful, dependable and willing to serve. You care about people and want them to be happy. But when your confidence depends on their approval, it can leave you exhausted, second-guessing your decisions and constantly wondering, Did I do something wrong?

In this episode of Beloved Daughter, Elizabeth shares 3 biblical ways to stop seeking approval and find your confidence in God.

Together, we’ll look at the difference between loving people and living for their approval, why our need for acceptance can begin shaping the way we see ourselves, and what Jesus teaches us about living with a heart that is loving toward people while remaining secure in God.

We’ll explore Jesus’ baptism and the powerful truth of being beloved before achievement, His willingness to do what was right even when others disapproved, and Peter’s failure and restoration after denying Jesus.

    You’ll discover how to:

Recognise when someone else’s opinion has started determining your self-worth

Understand the difference between people pleasing and genuine love
Stop allowing fear of disappointing others to make your decisions
Ask, “Jesus, what would please You here?” when you feel pulled in different directions
Receive correction without allowing a mistake to become your identity
Build confidence in God instead of constantly looking for reassurance from people
Come back to Jesus when you get it wrong

Because finding your confidence in God doesn’t mean you stop caring about people.

It means their opinion no longer gets to tell you who you are.

You can listen without losing yourself. You can love someone who disagrees with you. You can apologise when you’re wrong, set a boundary when it’s needed, and allow someone to be disappointed without automatically believing you’ve failed.

And when you do get it wrong?

    You know where to go.

Confidence in God isn’t confidence that you’ll never fall. It’s knowing where to go when you do.

If you’ve been struggling with people pleasing, fear of rejection, seeking validation, low confidence, Christian self-worth, boundaries, comparison, or worrying about what other people think, this episode will help you begin moving your confidence away from changing human opinions and back toward the steady love of God.
