Directed by Michael Pin with Laura Pin at the piano, I want to thank them for allowing me to share this clip with the audience here at Below Broadway. It was an amazing show!
Oh hello! It's been a while hasn't it?! Happy to report that we've wrapped filming on the small film I've been helping produce for the past couple weeks, and after an Easter weekend in the mountains with some fresh air and snow, I'm back with a super fun episode to celebrate the final performance of the Phantom of the Opera - closing after more than 30 years on Broadway.
Featured in tonights show are:
We'll see y'all next week for another night with the best of underground Broadway.
Have you ever wondered what happens to songs after they go through the workshop process? Some get cut and some get slight changes...so today we'll hear a couple great examples of songs that could have been! (Remember that great episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, called "the one that could have been"? yeah that was good)
Featured in today's show are the talents of:
We may or may not have a show next week as I squeeze some time in-between a few productions...but I'll try to put a short or two out in the coming days to make up for the missing weekend show! But who knows...might just get lucky with time! Enjoy your week y'all!
After walking out of the hair salon feeling extra sexy and confident with a fresh new cut, I am inclined to follow through on a half-serious promise I made to my stylist to both listen to music by Akon, and broadcast a bonus episode just for her filled with music from musicals you can watch or stream online.
Featured in today's extra special bonus episode are:
But for real...thank you for making my hair look great this week and enjoy all these songs from musicals you can actually go watch right now! (And then we'll call you a fan of Broadway lol)
A happy happy Valentine's Day to all y'all with this special holiday broadcast. Today's show is just filled to the brim with whatever came to the top of the search results after typing "love" and "valentines day". A few songs about heartbreak get tossed into the mix followed by the King of Rock & Roll and a stormy finish. Love ya lots!!
Gooood morning y'all? Who's a morning person here? Certainly not me! I've always been a bit of a night owl but when it comes to Broadway, it's always time to shine! Speaking of shine, the sun aint gonna shine today. That was one of the songs lined up but lost for this episode...but whatever. Here's to a rainy day in and a night at the theatre.

Did you hear? The soon-to-be disgraced US Representative, George Santos, has claimed publishing credit for one of Broadway's most infamous musicals....Spiderman. Like...it's not even believable at this point but we're just gonna roll with it and see how this one plays out.
