Many of my listeners will have heard of Ben, as he spans
himself across many disciplines. He is one of those talented bike racers who can adapt his skills to suit both the road and the off-road.
Ben was the winner at Guilford National Crit, in an amazing
display of power and bike handling on the technical course back in July, Chilton lapped all but three riders over the 50-minute race.
With this, and some other very impressive results, he went on to win the National series overall.
In cyclocross, he has multiple wins and podiums in the national U23 series, and recently had an impressive 21st at Superprestige
Neil cyclocross against the best elite riders in the world.
Some may be fooled into thinking he is only good at these
short intense races (Crits and CX both being around the hour mark).
But Ben also has some amazing road wins and results in the UK and across the continent, showing that he has the engine to go much longer and further.
Ben is well known for his super relaxed attitude to racing,
and had a very bright future ahead of him. He has recently been signed for a new team, and has some big plans ahead of him.
