We are joined by Ben Joyce, former University of Tennessee baseball star and now pitcher in the Angels organization for the Rocket City Trash Pandas. We get the backstory on Ben growing up in Knoxville, how he was actually a late bloomer which ultimately led to to playing at Walters State Community College before actually becoming a Tennessee Volunteer. Ben also overcame adversity thru injury but also showed his work ethic as he battled and came back stronger than ever. We talk about his time at Tennessee and just how much fun those teams were and of course hitting 105 mph on the gun. We discuss draft day and his first minor league season with Rocket City and what he’s doing to prepare for next season. And then as always we play a fun game of this or that.
