In today's episode, I spoke with Ben Prentice about his favorite topic, inflation. Ben is a self-proclaimed "armchair economist" but he is more knowledgeable than "real economists" on the impacts of inflation and he is very well known for being the co-creator of the website wtfhappenedin1971.com
Ben and I talked about the impacts of inflation and if our economy can function on “deflationary money”. Ben laid out the case for sound money and how “all the problems” we face today are a direct result of the debasement of our money via “money printing”.
Another important topic we covered was bitcoin’s ability to change people. Ben and I have both heard many stories of people's lives being completed changed when they began studying and interacting with bitcoin. Bitcoin gives them hope for a better and brighter future.
