GreenPeace is dead wrong about Bitcoin. I brought on Margo Paez, a climate researcher and PhD candidate to break down where they went wrong. Margo is also a renewable energy, environmental studies fellow at BPI where she researched the impact bitcoin will have on the buildout of renewable energy assets.
I brought Margo on to chat about her work and why greenpeace is wrong about bitcoin but we also dove into our views around getting the message out and human rights concerns.
We chat about proof of work Vs proof of stake (PoW vs. PoS). The conversation around the energy use per transaction, fossil fuels, renewables, nuclear, and more.
If you have some who believes deeply in reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs) to save the planet from rising temperatures (aka climate change) then this is the episode for them.
I really enjoyed the time with Margo and you won’t want to miss this whole episode.

Today I brought on JP Baric to discuss all things Bitcoin mining including how to maintain a competitive position in the extremely ruthless bitcoin mining space. JP shares how he built his social media empire where he built up a following of over 500k with 40 million+ views. JP also shares how he is developing a new product that will allow the average person to start mining for as little as $100. Lastly, we discuss JP his views on the energy use of Bitcoin and whether Bitcoin mining will have a negative or positive impact on the environment.

In this episode, I brought on Stephan Livera to discuss Libertarianism. I have spent a lot of time listening to others discuss the importance of the Libertarian political philosophy broadly as it applies to Bitcoin, but I wanted to get more in-depth on Libertarianism and gain a better understanding of this political ideology. We chatted a lot about property rights but we also touched on positive vs negative rights, the different "types" of libertarians, and what the world would look like if everyone was a Libertarian.

In today's episode, I brought on the creator of "Everything Divided by 21 Million", Knut Svanholm. I brought Knut on to chat about the origins of the meme and hyperbitcoinization. We also chatted about scarcity, violence, and incentives. The last 1/4 was arguably the best part. I highly encourage giving the whole episode a watch. Knut blew my mind at least twice.

With the media and the Biden Administration in an uproar about the potential for Bitcoin, Crypto, or digital assets to be used to avoid sanctions, I brought on Matthew Pines to discuss why he disagrees with this narrative. Matthew is a national security expert and a fellow at the Bitcoin Policy Institute where he wrote a recent report on why he believes Bitcoin is ill-suited as a tool to help Russia avoid Western Sanctions.

In this episode, I brought on Josh Mandel to discuss his Senate race in Ohio and to see where he stands on Bitcoin. I brought Josh on because he has been a massive advocate for Bitcoin during and even before his run for the US Senate. Josh passed a law in Ohio during his time as State Treasurer to allow the state to accept Bitcoin for taxes.
I was really fortunate to get Josh on the show and I look forward to watching him make his way to the Senate to defend Bitcoin.

On this episode, I have on Vijay Boyapati. Vijay is the Author of the book "The Bullish Case For Bitcoin". I brought Vijay on to discuss the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics and why he sees Bitcoin as a tool to lead us back towards Austrian economics which he sees as a superior method for measuring and running the economy. Vijay walks us through the differences between the different schools of economic thought that are being taught.
Often times Austrian Economics gets spoken about in Bitcoin circles, but I did not know enough about it so I brought on Vijay to help give me AND YOU, Austrian economics 101. We also briefly touched on politics and his experience with the Ron Paul campaign.
I hope you enjoyed this episode as much as I did. I appreciate you for always tuning in. Thank you as always and I will see you on the other side!

In this episode, I brought on Justin Huhn, the founder, and publisher of Uranium Insider. He is an investor in nuclear and understands exactly how Uranium is mined and used to fuel nuclear reactors. He also touches on how America can become pro-nuclear and debunks some of the fud surrounding it. He also explained what's around the corner for the nuclear energy space and why anyone who is "pro-environment" should be extremely interested in pushing nuclear as an energy source.
