Adam Copeland is joined by Athletic NFL Washington Football Team Writer Ben Standig to preview the upcoming WFT-49ers game on Sunday down in Arizona. The offseason started with a lot of distractions, but head coach Ron Rivera has been able to get thru that and has his team on the rise in the NFC East. The amazing story of Alex Smith to the field and to be able to walk again is so inspiring to everyone and really has lit a fire under his team since he became the starting qb. The WFT is coming off a monster upset of the unbeaten Steelers, so they are heading into Arizona on a high to take on the 49ers. Washington has been led by their defense. Lots of high picks on the d-line and they will look to try to make the 49ers 1 dimensional. And they talk about Jordan Reed and Trent Williams going up against their former team this Sunday.
