Long time no see! In this episode, I update you all on how my skin is doing and how I'm dealing with insecurities. Maria and I also discuss how our hormonal health has affected our skin health, and what we are doing to support our bodies through fluctuations. I'm sure many of you can relate when I say that acne is a work in progress--and I'm still figuring it out too.

Welcome to Season 2! This season I will be joined by my esthetician, Maria. We will be having conversations about topics that have made some of the biggest impacts in the progress I have made with my skin. In this episode, we introduce the topic of internal health and how it can be a huge factor in healing your skin. Addressing my internal health was a gamechanger for my skin, and I spent hours upon hours researching the relationship they have with one another, specifically after I relapsed from Accutane. I know how hard it can be to begin considering this with no direction, so I hope this episode can provide some guidance in where to start! Thank you Maria for sharing your knowledge!

In this episode, I highlight parts of my six months on Accutane and my thoughts now, having been off of it for over two years. Similar to anything else I have mentioned on this podcast, this was just another part of my acne journey, and arguably the most intense. As always, I hope to be relatable and real for those of you struggling with acne. Thank you for listening!

I am joined in this episode with my boyfriend, who has been with me throughout my entire acne journey. A huge reason I was so insecure about the blemishes on my skin, was because I felt that I wouldn't be seen as beautiful even to him. In this episode we talk about if and how acne can affect attraction and the truth in looking beyond the surface of the skin.
In this episode I sit down with my licensed esthetician, Maria Barkas, to answer all the questions about her job and the people she serves! We talk about the difference between estheticians and dermatologists, the types of products she sells and how they work, how she creates a regimen, her top skin care rules and products, and even her own experience with acne as an esthetician. I am so grateful for the work she has done for me which is why I had to have her on here. She is such a huge part of my skin journey and the one to thank for my skin health. Go check her out ASAP!

In this episode I take you all through a day in the life with acne. If you're like me, acne had the power to run my life and also play a part in many of the decisions I made each day. This is a look inside of just how many decisions it determined. From the time I woke up to the time I went to bed, and everything else in between, I was thinking about what could make my acne better or worse.

In this episode, I discuss how acne has not only cost me money, but a considerable amount of time. Too much time wasted in front of the mirror and too much money wasted on products that never worked. This can be such a frustrating factor of living with acne and something I personally look back on quite often.
