The focus of this podcast is: ALL things about Becoming Authentic!I, and my guests, will share our stories of stepping out and becoming our true selves after years of people pleasing, fearing rejection, and winding up unhappy and miserable.... and HOW we took steps to turn that around and become authentic and love our lives today.There will be talks about personality, goals, hobbies, joy, spirituality, pain, growth, transformation, recovery...and more.If you have gone through this process-- welcome and contact me to share YOUR story. I'd love to feature you.If you are unhappy and hear your inner voice saying "I don't want to live like this" or "I wish I could just be myself" WELCOME!I've spent decades living to first please my parents-- to gain love and avoid sharp hurtful criticism. THEN trying to fit in with people at schools. I did VERY well at both. I am a great chameleon. I "auditioned" on dates- hardly ever truly showing my real self for fear I wouldn't be selected. I woke up in my 50's to the realization that hardly ANYONE in my whole life has ever seen the real me.And then I had to admit...maybe I needed to still discover for myself who the real me is...and set her free!It's not easy but it is so worth it! And I love the life I live daily.I promise to be real...even when low or walking through something difficult. I invite you to join me.
