As we all know that eating healthy benefits us. But do you know according to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada that as simple as eating at home can reduce risk of developing heart disease and stroke? Sharing meals has other benefits including fewer disordered eating behaviours, better mental wellness and lower risk of depression, and more.
So today we’re learning a home recipe Mama’s Soup shared with me by my french Canadian neighbour from Quebec city. His mother made this soup for a family Christmas meal in 2006 and then mailed her recipe to him after he returned to Toronto. You see a shared home recipe can not only benefit family members, but also your neighbours and friends!
Your host Charlie Wang, based in Toronto Canada, is the founder of this podcast show. His father is a stroke survivor.
He started this podcast, because he wanted to help people with the knowledge of healthy food to avoid what had happened to his father and his friend. He hopes you will all be healthy, and have healthy relationships and better lives because you and your family are all physically healthy, and eating better.
