Benjamin Sukle Is The Chef Of Oberlin In Providence, Rhode Island. I First Met And Worked With Him When He Came To Napa To Participate In The Twelve Days Of Christmas Event Held At Meadowood. I Had Only Read About Him Up Until That Point, But I Knew We Would Get Along Because He Was A Warrior On The Front Lines Of The Food Scene In The Smallest State In The US. I Knew What Being That Warrior Felt Like And To Hear Him Speak The Gospel Of The Food & Ingredients Of My Beloved Rhode Island At The Restaurant At Meadowood Was A Remarkable Experience That I Will Never Forget. We Talked About His Time Working For His Parents Newspaper, To His Formative Years As A Cook, To Owning Two Of The Most Highly Regarded Restaurants In Rhode Island.
