Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Kevin O’Connell joins Eric Kendricks and Anthony Barr at Vikings Training Camp for Episode 5 of Bent Outta Shape.

With the 2026 NFL season approaching, KOC gives an inside look at where the Vikings stand heading into the year, what he’s seeing from the team in training camp, and which young players have impressed him the most. He also dives into the evolution of Minnesota’s offense, how the Vikings are looking to improve the run game, and the challenge of building an offense around a superstar like Justin Jefferson when opposing defenses are constantly adjusting to take him away.

O’Connell also opens up about his relationship with defensive coordinator Brian Flores and why their partnership has become such an important part of the Vikings’ success. KOC explains how the two coaches work together throughout the season, the conversations they have behind the scenes, and why Flores has become one of his most trusted voices inside the building.
