For this week's episode, I spoke with Composer, Benton Roark. In addition to being a composer, Benton is an academic, bandleader, recording artist, producer, and innovator of new musical instruments.

I have had the great opportunity to learn from Benton as a young artist, to sing in an excerpt from one of the Opera's and have now listened to a lot of the music he has made with his bands. 

Through my conversation with him, I got a much better understanding of who he is as an artist and how his many passions and musical adventures are driven by his experiences in life. It was truly a pleasure speaking to him and I am very excited to have him back soon!
