My guest for this episode is the one and only Rhoslyn Jones. 

Throughout her career, Rhoslyn has garnered acclaim for her voice and her stage work, but her love for her art and passion for teaching have set her on a lifelong pursuit of mentoring young artists, helping them find their path and their unique voice in the 21st century. 

I have been lucky enough to have shared the stage with her and to have learned from her,  now I am even luckier to get to speak to her for this podcast.

The tables have turned!

This week on Noteworthy, I had the incredible opportunity to speak to Trumpeter Jim Ross.

Jim is a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and holds the position of Second Trumpet in the Ensemble. His illustrious career has spanned multiple decades with performances all over the world in some of its most storied stages and halls.

Join us as we talk about his journey as a musician, his career going from young artist to becoming a professional trumpeter, and the insane number of incredible performances he has been apart of in just his 23 years at the Met.

This week on Noteworthy, I had an absolute blast speaking to Canadian Pianist Michelle Lynne living in the Netherlands. Michelle and I met through the wonders of social media through Instagram and it's been absolutely amazing seeing the number of people who have found a community through her work as an artist helping other artists find their inner strength.

Michelle enjoys a varied career of performing, teaching, and adjudicating and In addition to her already active schedule, she is the co-founder of the Fearless Artist. A company dedicated to supporting musicians as they take their careers to the next level.

Jaelem Bhate is a man of many talents. My respect for him extends beyond his resume as a conductor, composer, and bandleader. Through his own experiences as a young artist, he has had to work and perform in environments that at times showed him some of the uglier sides of human nature. However, that has not stopped him. Through his passion for music and his drive to raise his fellow musicians as they share the wonderous beauty and majesty of classical music, Jaelem has created the perfect avenue for a new type of culture very much in tune with the hopes and aspirations of the 21st century.
