My guest for this episode is the one and only Rhoslyn Jones.
Throughout her career, Rhoslyn has garnered acclaim for her voice and her stage work, but her love for her art and passion for teaching have set her on a lifelong pursuit of mentoring young artists, helping them find their path and their unique voice in the 21st century.
I have been lucky enough to have shared the stage with her and to have learned from her, now I am even luckier to get to speak to her for this podcast.

Sawyer Craig is part of a generation of artists that are truly taking ownership of their artform and helping define the next evolution of what Opera, could be and should be.
As a Soprano, Sawyer's goal has always been to breathe life into the song with intention and meaning. Join Sawyer and me as we explore the incredible journey she has been on and the exciting path she has moving forward not only as a performing artist on stage but as a director and manager.

This week, I had the distinct pleasure of speaking to two brilliant leaders in the Opera community who are standing up for change with conviction and courage. Allowing their own life narrative to guide them towards a more just and equitable world.
Thank you, Daevyd, Andrew, and by proxy the entire Opera inReach family, for joining me for this final episode of season 3 and bringing the community together, and creating an environment where our beloved art form is accessible and approachable.

The tables have turned!
This week on Noteworthy, my dear friend Luka Kawabata took on the host chair, and for his first conversation, we thought it would be fun to have me finally experience what it's like being the guest.
To be honest, I was somewhat nervous initially, but being the wonderfully warm person he is, Luka made me feel right at home.
*Please note that I misspoke in one section of the conversation - I mention the Wexford festival when in fact I meant to mention - the Westben Music Festival in Ontario.

Jaelem Bhate is a man of many talents. My respect for him extends beyond his resume as a conductor, composer, and bandleader. Through his own experiences as a young artist, he has had to work and perform in environments that at times showed him some of the uglier sides of human nature. However, that has not stopped him. Through his passion for music and his drive to raise his fellow musicians as they share the wonderous beauty and majesty of classical music, Jaelem has created the perfect avenue for a new type of culture very much in tune with the hopes and aspirations of the 21st century.
